boston eats farewell tour part 1: south end buttery

Before moving to Berlin Brandon and I wanted to hit up all of our favorite Boston places. Our first stop was The Buttery in the southend. They have my ALL TIME FAVORITE eggs Benedict. Any time I get eggs Benedict and it’s not the Buttery’s it’s never as good. I don’t know what kind of magic they add in, it’s just a simple eggs Benedict on their house made biscuits (that’s probably the key)… but it’s perfect.

We ended up here after a failed attempt at enjoying SOWA market. It was so overcrowded and not worth enduring the heat or long lines at the food trucks so we walked over to the buttery for some a/c and cocktails. Brandon had a Bloody Mary and I a Paloma, both were great!
