boston eats farewell tour part 2: coppa
For part 2 of our farewell tour we went to Coppa (I'm realizing now, most of our favorite places in Boston are in the South End). Coppa is the perfect place to share plates of meat and cheese and pasta!
While I'm sure you can't go wrong with any cocktail choice here, I recommend the house negroni or aperol spritz.
We started off our meal with the Sedano di Caesar consisting of celery, caesar dressing, and breadcrumbs. It looked too good and I was too hungry so I forgot to take a photo... here's the aftermath:
Next up, delicious, crispy, oozing, arancini. We usually will opt for a cheese plate (from formaggio kitchen across the street), but the arancini did not disappoint!
... and then, the PASTA! Brandon enjoyed the Linguine alla Seppia while I had the Gemelli con Mais. Both were perfection! I also HIGHLY recommend the Spaghetti Carbonara con Riccio di Mare (your typical carbonara + sea urchin).
Coppa is one of those go to places where we know we will always have an interesting, yet comforting meal. No matter what you order, it's guaranteed to be delicious. With a cozy atmosphere, it's definitely good to make a reservation if you can, but the bar is also a great place to eat. If you can't decide on what to order the servers are reliable recommendations! Last time we went our's even remembered our cheese order :)
